Didn't wanna play - tired. Pushed myself to do so - hammering in my back head idea about small poker business-  How can You not to go work ? :) Did okay first 500 hands - in +. Lost trips kings to flush at the river - one table and all stack on this one. Also lost trips aces to straight at the river  =  did not buy in more at this table...Ended up with losses and not so great mindset for rest of the evening. Might push myself more... WORK ETHIC.... Must work out my routine before I will start session...sigh

Did start with 4 tables. In Very beginning two big losses with pair of kings (not my hand today). Lost connection on two tables and did follow with two remaining rest of session. Lesson to learn - if tired start with two tables and add only if feeling better. Of course more easy to say(write) then to do. Not overly happy with my play - lost track on HUD - missed double barreling bluffs( big cap between flop and turn bet ) and did give up very easily on flop (Fold to CBEt stat). Did try to remember - TO GET ACTION YOU MUST GIVE ACTION (were bit more loose then usually, but time after time in EP not Late = wrong)

Did start out with 2 tables with idea to add till four after my ''poker brain'' is awake. Around after 100 hands had bad bad beat. A high flush versus straight flush 5 - 9. Did not add more tables and did try focus - worked up after hour or so.

Did play with 4 tables. First hand with one of them called all in preflop with AA and it did hold. I know not great start, but couldn't resist (again :(). Rest session wasn't able to hold it. Lost couple times with overpairs. trips etc..Wasn't very happy with my play....

Did good first 1/3 of session - then after couple big lost were even and last 100 hands just get bored and made many mistakes - all I been written in this blog - mostly bad river bets and too loose opening range. Got to figure out right amount of tables I will play. Right now 4 on Zoom is sometimes too much and then I will go to 2 tables I will get bored sometimes. Still did not work out routine before starting session....

Went down big with first 1800 hands and then started to work up again. Lesson learned (? - I hope) - no all ins no matter what You will hold preflop. Any two cards can win and in LEVEL 1 You will need more skills to have on flop play then preflop. Most hands will get at least flop play and more

Where Am I

WHERE AM I

First of all – I did not give up yet :)

I know my results in cash game are not what I hoped for. I made lots of mistakes trying to beat five levels with one year and probably I will not able to do this, but...I have to take this year like learning curve.

One thing what helped me to go on is reading Dusty Schmidt book '' Treat Your Poker Like a Business''. Couple things I learned :

1. Poker is not get- rich- quick scheme

Much I wasn't realistic about my skills in cash game. I started out all right, but after first tilt everiting went down hill....:) I never did understand what peaole are talking about then they mention Tilt. It wasn't problem for me at all... but I did not ever played amount of hands I did play now and my hunger for winnings was not that high. No plan no hopes. It did hit me strong – reallity I did get gross with myself and it took me months to get over myself.

2. Without commitment in game You can't win …,,day to day, there are distractions

that are part of the equation. You have to work through them, or not work at your poker at all.''

Idea about part time job and beat levels with one year is bulls...t. It is not possible in my opinion. First of all You are not able to play amount of hands is required to pass each level with reasonable win rate – till 8. Beginners are not playing 12 tables and also winning. You got to do You fair share of hands before You are able to go there. Just to be realistic – one day has 24 hours

3)Statistics say that most businesses don’t make money for five years...We won’t expect our poker business to make money for one year, so for that period, you will not take money out of your poker account. This allows you to comfortably progress through the limits as your skills dictate.

I played for fun before and it did not matter that much do I win or not. Neather I had control over how much I did win or loose. I thought I am already winning player and it is not for me then they talking about proper bankroll - Wrong
